They create burs and leave exposed metal untreated and prone to rust. So when we mounted our Scanstrut DS-HD6 (the nicest pass-through in the game) for our solar panels we knew we had to come up with a better solution.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe interior mounting kit borrows from our MaxxFan design language using high quality ABS plastic machined with the upmost care with threaded inserts pressed in.
