It's pretty obvious here at Moonraker Design Co. we hate sheetmetal screws through the skin of the van. They create burs and leave exposed metal untreated and prone to rust. So when we mounted our Scanstrut DS-HD6 (the nicest pass-through in the game) for our solar panels we knew we had to come up with a better solution.
The interior mounting kit borrows from our MaxxFan design language using high quality ABS plastic machined with the upmost care with threaded inserts pressed in. This not only gives you a more secure mount, but one that looks professional and finished.
Note: Included M3×0.5mm flat head screws are sized for single-layer van sheetmetal including without sound deadening. Thicker mounting locations require longer screws (not included).

- Has a zip tie guide (zip tie included) designed in to tuck wires up against the roof.
- Press fit stainless steel threaded inserts.
- Comes with 4 new M3x0.5 black stainless machine Phillips screws to replace the sheetmetal ones from your Scanstrut kit.
- We recommend applying the included VHB tape on the van skin side of the bracket during install so the bracket stays in place if you ever need to service you Scanstrut from the roof.
